If travelling west from the Exeter direction, take the A38 (continuation of M5) towards Plymouth. After about 28 miles look for the A3121 exit to [Ermington, (Yealmpton), Modbury]. Turn off and follow signs to Yealmpton.


On entering Yealmpton bear off left just prior to the Texaco petrol station signed Newton Ferrers, Noss Mayo. Follow the road for about three miles and turn left at signpost [Noss Mayo]. This is a very narrow lane in places.


At the end of the lane at Bridgend there is a cross road. Cross over and proceed with the creek on your right. After a quarter of a mile bear right at Junket Corner and go on for a further quarter of a mile. One Pillory Hill is on the left on the far side of Church Steps where the road widens (if you start going down a steep hill, you have gone too far!)
